Robel&Mahlet

It all began on a November evening in 2023, a Thanksgiving dinner hosted by our church. What was meant to be a simple gathering became the night that changed everything. Across a room full of laughter and warmth, Robel and Mahlet found each other, and from that very first conversation, something felt different. That was November 17th, and it was the start of something beautiful.

What followed was a journey that neither of them expected. With Robel in California and Mahlet in Dallas, distance became the backdrop to a friendship that grew deeper with every call, every visit, and every shared prayer. Over time, friendship blossomed into love, and love became a promise. On January 18, 2026, Robel got down on one knee and Mahlet said yes. Now, on April 18, 2026, they will stand before God, family, and friends to become one.
